Help, my presentation has gone missing
Elizabeth rang up in a panic for IT support, she had a deadline to meet. In 30 minutes she needed to deliver a project to the Board which she had been working on for weeks. It had just disappeared, she couldn’t find the folder she was using anywhere.
When we received the call we understood the urgency and logged onto her computer and found she had deleted it by accident. We were able to restore it from the server in a matter of minutes. Deadline saved, presentation went ahead as planned.
Help, I can’t print my spreadsheet
Ben needed to print a spreadsheet and it just wouldn’t print.
Extremely frustrated, he couldn’t understand why other people in his office were printing OK.
Somehow his printer driver had become corrupt, we solved the problem by deleting the printer driver and re-installing it. Spreadsheet printed out no problem.
Help, our in-house IT person is off sick
We received a call to say that our customer’s in-house IT support person had been taken ill and was likely to be off work for up to four weeks. The customer had multiple on-going IT projects and support calls mounting by the day.
LCS were able to work with the customer to develop a day-to-day support plan which suited both the customer’s need and available budget to ensure that the impact of the absence was minimal.
